Last year, we launched our brand new range for West House Pottery. Made completely by the people that we support, the founding Curwen Collection consist of a range of essential homeware inspired by the sandstone surrounding the studio. Since then, we have launched our all-new Solway Collection and been featured in a whole host of national publications including The Sunday Times, Country Homes and Interiors, Home Style, Home and Garden and Period Living.
West House Pottery now has its own dedicated website and is also sold on the exclusive curated homeware site – Glasette.
This continued exposure and growth for West House Pottery meant that we needed to increase our production capacity through the addition of another kiln. The secondary kiln would allow us to double our production and speed up the making process.
When it came to funding the additional kiln, our long-time supporters and friends at the Sellafield Snowball Fund were able to help. Our successful application enabled us to buy the much-needed additional kiln. Thanks go to all at Sellafield and our friends at the Snowball Fund for their generous donation. We look forward to the continued growth that this kiln will help us to achieve.
