Salary: £10.50 - £10.90 per hour
Hours: Various hours available from 8 – 39hrs per week

Apprenticeships

Join us as an Apprentice and work towards a Level 2 Diploma in Care (Standard) supported by Lakes College West Cumbria.

An apprenticeship at West House will enable you to gain on-the-job training, whilst receiving a wage and qualifications in a rewarding, positive and person-centred environment.

Volunteering

Volunteers are not paid – not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.

Becoming a volunteer is a simple easy way for people to make a real difference to someone’s life. Volunteers within West House can do many things including:

  • Accompany someone on a day/night out
  • Organise a fundraising event
  • Act as a committee member
  • Advocate or speak up for somebody

The list is endless.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer there is a simple process to go through. You will need to complete an application form, attend an interview and complete a DBS check. This process is necessary for everyone’s protection.
