Support Workers Required

Role: Support people who have a learning difficulties and other associated needs by ensuring their independence, choice rights and inclusion through the enhancement of their personal, domestic and social needs. Join our crew of super support workers and you will receive a welcome bonus of £250 in your first full month's pay!
Salary: £9.50 p/h to £9.90 p/h + up to an additional £6k per year in sleepover allowance for full-time contracts
Hours: Various hours available from 15 – 39hrs per week

Apprenticeships

Volunteering

Volunteers are not paid – not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.

Becoming a volunteer is a simple easy way for people to make a real difference to someone’s life. Volunteers within West House can do many things including:

  • Accompany someone on a day/night out
  • Organise a fundraising event
  • Act as a committee member
  • Advocate or speak up for somebody

The list is endless.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer there is a simple process to go through. You will need to complete an application form, attend an interview and complete a DBS check. This process is necessary for everyone’s protection.
