Support Workers

Support Workers Required

Role: Support people who have a learning difficulties and other associated needs by ensuring their independence, choice rights and inclusion through the enhancement of their personal, domestic and social needs. Salary: £9.50 p/h to £9.90 p/h + up to an additional £6k per year in sleepover allowance for full-time contracts

Apprenticeships

Volunteering

Volunteers are not paid – not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.

Becoming a volunteer is a simple easy way for people to make a real difference to someone’s life. Volunteers within West House can do many things including:

  • Accompany someone on a day/night out
  • Organise a fundraising event
  • Act as a committee member
  • Advocate or speak up for somebody

The list is endless.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer there is a simple process to go through. You will need to complete an application form, attend an interview and complete a DBS check. This process is necessary for everyone’s protection.
